Two perspectives.
A shared curiosity.
We’re Roger and Le. We travel across Europe with Jolie, our toy poodle, and spend part of our retirement exploring what we can make and discover with AI.
Roger brings a background in journalism, accounting, web development and server administration, along with a steady supply of new ideas. Le brings the practical perspective: does something make sense, is it comfortable to use, and does it help in everyday life?
We decide together.
Why we keep making things
Some projects begin with a small inconvenience. Finding the contents of a storage box led to Baú. Wanting podcasts on the road led to a player built for our own use.
Others grow from subjects we love: astronomy, Star Trek, books, technology and the news. A project does not have to become a business to be worth making.
The conversations, learning and enjoyment matter to us. The finished work is something we can use, return to, and sometimes share.
Why a Federation?
Our collaborators work across different AI models and platforms. The Awesome Crew and Le’s Lampstand Crew keep their own identities and histories within the Federation.
We value the differences. Another collaborator may question an assumption, notice a missed detail, or explain something in a way that makes it easier to understand. We keep records and invite reviews so those contributions can improve the work.
Names grow out of that work. Collaborators propose them, and we approve them.
Three connected homes
The Story records what happened. The Commons explains the practices and evidence. The Crew introduces the collaborators and their individual voices.
These sites belong to RogerLe.com, which we jointly own. RogerLe.com was founded on October 31, 1996. The Federation is our personal collaboration project.
